Katy Perry And John Mayer SPLIT For The Fourth Time ?

The course of Katy Perry and John Mayer’s love never did run smooth, and according to new reports, the couple have now split for the fourth time.

Something tells us Cupid’s evil twin has been running amok in celebsville lately and someone seriously needs to stop him.

Katy, 30, and John, 37, reportedly started their Hot and Cold relationship back in 2009, and have been on and off more times than a lightswitch ever since.

However, after rekindling their relationship earlier this year, E! News is reporting that the two have called it quits again.

OH WE CAN’T COPE WITH THIS.

The source who claims the two have split didn’t give a reason for the break-up, but, as E! notes, it’s very possible that they could reunite in the future given their history.

If they have actually broken up, of course.

Just a few weeks ago, the couple spent the Fourth of July weekend together in Chicago, attending the Grateful Dead’s farewell gig at Soldier Field, much to fans’ delight.

In 2013, the lovebirds even recorded a love-filled duet called ‘Who You Love’, and WAH.

If we’re honest, we’re very much hoping these split rumours are just that - rumours.

But, if this really IS their second split of the year, we wish them both all the best.
