Oshiomhole ‘Jonathan minister stole $6bn,’ Governor says

Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole has said that a former minister under the Goodluck Jonathan administration embezzled more than $6 billion while in office.

Oshiomhole stated that the details of the fraud were provided by US officials during President Muhammadu Buhari’s recent trip to the States.

The governor made the comments on Monday, July 26, 2015, after a meeting with Buhari at the State House in Abuja.

Oshiomhole said:
“We have moved away from a president that doesn’t seem to know his powers to one that understands that he is a president of the country in the continent.”
