Reports reaching GF say the father of the former Governor of Anambra state, Senator Chris Ngige, Ozo Akunnia Pius Okonkwo Ngige is dead.
According to Sun News, Ngige formally announced the demise of his aged father
The late Ozo, was a civil servant in the colonial era, where he worked with them to build health centers in the old Onitsha province of Eastern Region.
Ozo Akunnia Pius Okonkwo Ngige was born in 1910 in Alor, Anambra state
Condolence messages have since poured in from party members and associates.
The former National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Victor Umeh also condoled with the senator.
